Hi everybody!
It would be amazing if you (CCP) could fix the Locus nade hit detection problem. I can't count how many times I threw a Core grenade in the face of many light/medium suits thinking that they'll all nicely die, but the nade hit detetection was so bugged that no one got even hit! (Most of the time I see the nade explosion on the feet of my enemy but it doesnt deal any damage.)
I dont know what you changed about them that makes them so useless (this happens all the time in every single game) because it used to work just great (maybe a year ago..) ! Check out what's different now from the old code please, if you can fix this issue, 1.9 could really become interesting.
Sorry for my bad english ^^

I find it kinda funny that the flux and locus have the exact same blast radius but the flux seems more effective. This is because grenade damage reduces as range increase from the point of explosion. It is not a flat damage level to the entire radius area if I remember correctly. So the edges of the blast radius will deal less damage than the focal point. (Someone please correct me if I am mistaken) Still, that doesn't explain grenades at peoples feet. I haven't noticed this problem myself. I completely forgot that point! Thanks for reminding me about it^^ Although, feet explosions that doesnt kill anything happen to me all the time.. I remember that once I died 7 times in the same game because grenades weren't dealing damage this way, it drove me absolutely insane.
About contact grenades, they should bring their damage back to the core ones if they want to make them useful. The price of those things is so high for a MLT grenade!
Or: create tier of contact grenades, so they would deal 100Hp less than their normal variant. (STD: 200HP/ADV:300HP/PROTO:500HP)
